Introducing the Launchpad: a weekly competition for apps built with PiPilot

Publishing an app used to be the finish line. Today it’s the starting line. The Launchpad is a Product-Hunt-style weekly competition for apps built and published with PiPilot — live now at /showcase, and in the /app sidebar.

Build something, publish it to a *.pipilot.dev address, and put it up for the community to judge. If you spot someone else’s app that deserves attention, nominate it by link — you don’t have to be the builder to submit it.

How it works

• Submit your own published app, or nominate one you love by pasting its link.
• The community upvotes and downvotes entries, and leaves comments.
• A live activity feed shows votes and comments landing in real time.
• When voting closes for the week, the leaderboard locks and a new week opens automatically — no gap, no manual reset.

Winners get more than bragging rights

Each week the top 3 apps by net score win bonus build hours, on top of a permanent spot on the Wall of Fame:

• 1st place — +20 bonus build hours
• 2nd place — +10 bonus build hours
• 3rd place — +5 bonus build hours

The Wall of Fame is a running record of every week’s winners — a place to point to and say “I built that,” long after the week it won has closed.

Why we built this

The best way to get better at building is to see what other people are shipping — and the best way to know if something you built actually resonates is to put it in front of people who’ll tell you honestly. The Launchpad gives every published app a stage, every week, and turns build hours — the thing you need most to keep shipping — into the prize.
