From idea to live app in one chat

Hans Ade

The fastest way to get a great app out of PiPilot isn’t a perfect, paragraph-long spec. It’s a clear first sentence followed by a good conversation. Here’s the rhythm that gets you from idea to a live URL without friction.

Start with one clear sentence

Lead with the what, not the how. “A habit tracker where I check off daily goals and see a streak” gives the agent a target. You don’t need to specify the framework or the file layout — that’s the agent’s job. Say what the app is for.

Refine in conversation

Once the first version is on screen, react to what you see. Small, specific follow-ups beat giant rewrites.

  • “Make the streak counter the hero of the page.”
  • “Add a weekly view next to the daily list.”
  • “Store the goals so they persist between visits.”
  • “Tighten the spacing on mobile.”

Ship it

When it looks right, deploy. PiPilot pushes the app to your own stack and hands you a shareable URL — the same app you’ve been clicking through, now live for anyone. From one sentence to a link you can send, in a single chat.

Open a new chat, write one honest sentence about what you want, and refine from there. You’ll have a link by the end.
