Your app can now make its own demo video

Hans Ade

You built the app. Now you need a video for the landing page, the launch tweet, the demo day. Recording it yourself means screen captures, a script, a mic, and an editor. So most people never make one — and a great app ships with nothing to show it in motion.

PiPilot now makes the video for you. Ask for a promo, teaser, or product demo in plain language and it renders a real, narrated MP4 in the cloud — then drops a shareable link into your Google Drive.

A 16:9 product demo — script, screen recording, voiceover and music, all generated by PiPilot.

What it can put in a video

  • Themed motion title cards — a unique look per video, with fonts, colors, and typewriter text.
  • Scene imagery generated to your prompt, so it’s accurate and on-brand — or pulled from a huge built-in stock library.
  • A live screen-recording of your DEPLOYED app: it drives the real site with a visible cursor, signs in, and clicks through your features.
  • AI voiceover in 20+ voices, with background music that automatically ducks under the narration, plus burn-in captions.
  • Smooth transitions, a matching thumbnail, and 1080p output.

The part that’s genuinely new: it demos itself

Most “AI video” tools stitch stock clips. PiPilot can do that — but because it also builds and deploys your app, it can record the app actually running. A screencast scene opens your live URL, moves a cursor, logs in with demo credentials, and walks through the exact flow you describe. That’s a product demo of your real software, not a mockup.

The same engine renders vertical 9:16 reels for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

How you ask for it

Just tell PiPilot what you want — “make a 30-second teaser for my storefront” or “record a demo that logs in and creates a project.” It writes the storyboard, resolves the visuals, generates the voiceover, and renders. You get back a link you can drop anywhere.

Free plans render up to three minutes with a small watermark; paid plans go longer and watermark-free.

Open a project, then ask PiPilot to make a demo video of it. A minute or two later, there’s a shareable MP4 in your Drive.
