PiPilot BaaS grew out of PiPilot itself. Every app our AI agent builds needed a database, auth, storage and a way to call AI without a key — so we built one backend that any agent (ours or yours) can provision in seconds, and shipped it as its own product.
Why we built it
AI coding agents are good at writing application code and bad at waiting on a human to click through a database dashboard. We wanted provisioning a table, a bucket, or an auth flow to be a single API call an agent can make mid-conversation — no console, no manual setup, no separate signup.
